Fireflies Philadelphia

The work that we've been doing for project 4 has made me think about public displays of art that I have seen around Philadelphia in the past. One project that I thought of happened around a year and a half ago and is titled Fireflies. This art display took place on the Ben Franklin Parkway in the form of hand made lanterns connected to pedicabs. People could get rides in these pedicabs as the lanterns bobbed around and lit up the parkway. A webpage describing the project in greater detail can be found here along with a video.  -Ashley
