Redesigned Road Sign Examples

I was looking for some inspiration for Project 1.2 and I came across this website of signs redesigned by graphic artists. I thought this one in particular was really clever in utilizing pre-existing symbols to effectively convey a message, while still maintaining the integrity of a road-sign's style (since the X mark aligns with the crossing parts of the symbol). Many examples on the site linked use more than three colors, but they're still quite helpful to look through.
